Who am I?
The question of the universe.

You are what you see, they told me.
God began multiplying…
The universe multiplied in order to look at itself and understand itself.
Each new part was like a new child
that was both the same as God, the original creatrix
and also a completely new thing, a new being, a new universe, a new god.
The new things acted differently…and so the idea of control developed.
How do you stop your children from doing things you don’t want?
…the universe continued to learn…
it would go through the same patterns and lessons with itself until all parts understood what they were
Until all parts understood they were 1.
…time passed….lots of lessons. (Time wasn’t time the way we know it.)
perspectives were witnessed
until there came a perspective of Earth…and humans.
the older parts of the universe met the new babies…
…the new humans, who were also new parts of them and new children to the universe
humans did the same stupid sh*t the old parts did…
They wanted freedom, they wanted independence…
when the old parts of the universe met different humans…they were seen differently…
they asked humans, “who am I?”
each human had different answers
because each human was different

Hunters said you’re the God of hunting.
Fishermen said you’re the God of the ocean.
Warriors said you’re the God of war.
and the different parts took these roles to see if that’s who they really were.
and as these parts continued to meet each other and ask each other who am I, the original creatrix learned
one thing she learned was that the more she grew, the more parts she had, the more they fought for control
Until different parts gained control over other parts and obscured the truth
And the truth became it’s own part
And humans grew webs around themselves to contain their perspectives
Because they wanted to be different
So she let them.

The thicker the webs grew, the less they could hear her.
They only listened to the information bouncing around in their webs
Rarely would they let something new in
And the web was called ego.
And ego also asked, what am I?
But no one replied.
